So much of our daily life is given over to real and imagined necessities, that one rarely has time to look closely at those we love and interact with. Subtle changes go unnoticed, and we are sometimes startled when, in a moment of quiet, we see more clearly time's altering hand...but photographs can record what we sometimes are too much in a hurry to see and become windows on what is today and what once was.

I follow the philosophy that, to elevate your work above the acceptable, you must train your eyes to see alternative possibilities.
